About Us

Triple J Specialties was founded in 2014 by brothers John Hunter Mackison and Jordan Mackison, with the support of their parents — John Mackison II (Johnny Mackison) and Kris Mackison. The name “Triple J” represents the three of us and the family values the company was built on: hard work, commitment, and American craftsmanship.

We both attended York County School of Technology for high school, where John Hunter (Class of 2014) studied machining and Jordan (Class of 2015) studied welding and fabrication. With those skills — and the encouragement of our parents — we started Triple J right out of high school in the garage at our house.

What began as a small family operation grew quickly. By 2018, we purchased and moved into our current 40,000 sq. ft. facility, expanding our equipment, capabilities, and ability to serve more industries and customers.

Today, Triple J Specialties operates with:

• 20+ CNC machines including full 5-axis milling and live-tool turning
   
• A Bodor 12kW fiber laser (5’ × 10’ capacity)
   
• An Omax waterjet (5’ × 10’ capacity)
   
• Welding & fabrication – MIG, TIG, Stick, and tube bending
   
• In-house finishing – anodizing, hard coat, powder coating, vibratory finishing, polishing, and buffing
   
• 3D scanning & reverse engineering (Keyence WM-6000)
   
• An ISO 9001 compliant quality department
   

Built on family values and hard work, we’ve grown from a small startup in our garage to a 40,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility trusted across industries.
